I know you all have
your calendar marked for Sept 4. This
will be the volunteer training
meeting,and it will be
necessary to attend. It
will be held at the First Baptist
Church, 701 1st St, Kirkland
WA.at
7:00 pm. Even if you've
volunteered other years, some things
change and to prevent
misunderstandings we need you there.
Also this year we will be doing
volunteer registrations, for the Ride,
at the training meeting.We will also
be given our volunteer shirt--which is
just for volunteers. Thank you Ken
Watson for sponsoring those shirts.
The day of the ride we
will be handing out premiums during
registration. That means we will need more
volunteers than in past
years.So if you know anyone who would
like to help please have them contact
me or just show up at the meeting.
Help get the word out
that the Cossacks will be performing
at 9:00AM.
If you can not
volunteer, please come to the ride on
Sept. 7th at Remlinger Farms,32610
Northeast 32nd St Carnation,WA.
Registration starts at 8:00 AM and
closes at 9:45 AM. The ride begins at
10:00 AM.

Everyone......
I apologize for not getting this info
out before now but I'm in School Bus
Driver Re-training till the end of the
month and I'm not used to studying or
having to be somewhere at a set time
each morning. The last 6 months have
been a great vacation.
7 Chance Tickets - these
are the $20 tickets that you say SPLIT
or DRAW on. Tickets will be sold from
now, 8/10/2008 thru 12/31/2008. One
ticket will be drawn each month; Jan,
Feb, Mar, Apr, May & Jun with the big
winner being pulled in July at Gold
Rush. I have attached the rules for
the Final Drawing at Gold Rush. If
anyone would like these tickets to
purchase or assist us in selling them
it would be greatly appreciated just
give us a call and I'll get a few in
the mail to you. Region "A" has 400
of them to sell and the moneys will
need to be turned back into us at the
end of each month. National will ONLY
print & sell 2,500 of them. If you
need more info on them please call us.
Region "A" Rally -
Pendleton, OR Convention Center, Aug
28th - 31st. There's still time to
make plans on attending. You don't
want to be left out of all the fun.
We've got 3 rides to chose from, a
Walk-about through town where you can
purchase a bracelet from the Chamber
Office and another 52 charms at other
business, Chili Cook-off, Ice Cream,
50/50, and lots more.
Gold Rush XXII - will be
held in Lexington, KY. Check the
National web page for more info and
the registration form.
Dues Increase - Dues
increase on Sept 1st. If you haven't
renewed yet do it before the price
goes up. Remember, you can renew for
multiple years, single or family, at
the old price as long as it's done
before Sept 1st.
